Ali Karakas

Ali Karakas brings on his work the urban life always seeking for intimacy. Many times, he photographs people on their house portraying the human condition and its habits. Has an extensive portfolio on commercials, publicity - including photogtaphic work on gastronomy.

Ali collaborated on Roots & Patisserie on many levels.

Gal Oppido

One of the most talented artists from Brazil, Gal Oppido is an extremely gifted photographer, cinematographer, 

filmmaker, painter, designer, drummer who has been inspiring many generations with his daring, innovative and powerful work. 

In 1999/2000 has his first photographic exhibition in Germany, Brasilianishe Fotografie 1946/1998 at KunstMuseum Wolfsburg.

In 2013, coordinated the residency of Brazilian Artists at the Berlin in Focus.

 

Gal Oppido has been teaching professional photography at MAM (Modern Art Museum) in Sao Paulo, Brazil since 2001.

He worked on the multi awarded short film The Story of the Little Girl Who Loved Butterflies by the director Paula du Gelly in Los Angeles.

Gal Oppido is currently working on his first feature film entitled CROSS.

Gal's contribution to Roots & Patisserie is more than a statement - bringing together many different aspects of the work powerfully.
